The sky called today,
Wondering where I had went.
I told the sky I had gone to the grocery store,
But alas, it had watched me, and it knew where I had gone.
The sky spoke firmly, but with soothing undertones,
As it scolded me for being the way I was, doing what I did.
Coming down now, I felt the first drops of reconcilliation upon my face.
As I stood there, amongst the familiar faces of the trees,
The sky beggining to scold, and forgive all at the same time.
I wasn't at the store, it watched me trompse away into the evening trees.
Stealing away what little daylight, I thought was left for me.
Speaking slowly, as if in whispers, the sky asked many things of me,
And I replied as I should, voice firm, eyes forward and fixed upon it.
I told it my feelings, I released unto it, my darkest fears, and brightest hopes.
For this, he scolded me more, falling more frequently, with painfull speed.
I buried my head into my arms, this onslaught too much to bear.
Blinded by tears, I continued to scream at it, releasing my rage.
The sky wouldn't listen, as his torrents continued to increase.
My bones started to harden, and freeze, and my muscles became hard to move.
My blood was not enough to keep me warm, my mind raced for things to warm me.
Thoughts of sunshine, thoughts of a blue sky, beaches,
Ran rampant throughout my mind. Thoughts of you.
The sky broke into my mind with his onslaught of ice cold corrections.
So with blurry eye's and slow hands, I pulled out my gun and made a fire in my head.

I told you that I enjoyed earlier, but after reading it again, you're right, the last part did grip me, but as I said earlier, nothing is a surpise when it comes from you. HA!
